Rapper’s daughter clears air on his condition

Lil Wayne's daughter says her father is okay and doing fine.

The music community was thrown into a major scare on Sunday, September 3, 2017, when reports emerged that Lil Wayne suffered from a seizure.

According to TMZ, Lil Wayne was found unconscious in his hotel room in Chicago. Even though details about his health condition have remained sketchy, his daughter, Reginae Carter, has been able to clear the air about her father’s health condition.

The “Growing Hip Hop” star who only recently graduated from high school, wrote on her twitter page that her father is doing just fine and also took out time to quench rumors surrounding the incident.

“My dad is doing fine everyone! Thanks for the concerns. You guys are amazing” she tweeted. Reginae Carter further tweeted “Oh yeah .. & don't believe everything you hear.”

Representatives of the Hip-Hop star said, he was hospitalized because of his epilepsy condition. Lil Wayne has been known to suffer from seizures and epilepsy over the years. According to his reps, he is currently stable and resting.

This is not the first time Lil Wayne is having a seizure. In 2016, an emergency landing had to be made after the Young Money boss suffered a seizure on a flight.

In 2013, it was falsely reported by TMZ that Lil Wayne had passed on after he was rushed to the hospital after suffering multiple seizures.

He was in intensive care for over a week. TMZ reported that the rap star's stomach had to be pumped three times based on the suspicion that he had overdosed on codeine.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne is still dealing with contractual issues between him and Cash Money Records. The back and forth between him and Brian 'Baby' Williams has stalled the release of his "Carter V" album.
