24 hours to wedding, bride-to-be gets arrested with another lover during cult initiation (photos)

A bride-to-be identified as Bose Christopher has been arrested as a suspected cultists during an initiation party for new members in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

She was arrested alongside 30 other suspected cultists. It was gathered that Christopher was arrested 24 hours to her wedding for alleged involvement with cultists.

According to Premium Times, the bride-to-be had gone to the initiation party with another man she is in a relationship with.

In an interview, Christopher claimed that she did not know her boyfriend was a cultist because she met him two weeks ago.

She said: “It is true, I went with my boyfriend to the party and it is also true that my wedding introduction was scheduled to hold the following day I went to the ceremony with my boyfriend.”

“My introduction was supposed to hold the day after we were arrested, but I couldn’t go. I met him (boyfriend) about two weeks ago and I never knew he is a cult member. He just called me after I closed from the shop to join him at the party.”

Christopher who claimed to be an apprentice at a fashion designing workshop said her husband-to-be stopped seeing her after he learnt she was arrested.

According to the police, the suspects were arrested by the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
